Latest in Beauty are my favourite beauty box service, they continually come out with collaborations
with the likes of Glamour magazine and Origins and also offer a subscription
service! I’ve never subscribed to the likes of Birchbox or Glossybox before because
I don’t like the fact you don’t know what you’re getting each month but with
Latest in Beauty you choose exactly what you want to receive each month - brands range from Rimmel and MUA to Nuxe and Omorovicza! Now I certainly
don’t need any more beauty products but I was tipped over the edge this time
when I saw what had been added to the website when Sal at Umm Baby Beauty
showed her last box over on Instagram! She is one of my favourite bloggers and you should all follow her immediately if you aren't already!
The Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist was
the product that did it for me – I have
wanted to try the brand for the longest time but the products aren’t cheap and
I was unsure if the rose scent would be too much for me. I’ve only used this a
couple of times since I got it but the scent is very gentle and the mist feels
really refreshing!
The Bumble and Bumble Hairdressers Invisible Oil Primer, Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel pads and Oskia Renaissance Mask were also Sal inspired purchases and all brands I’ve
heard great things about but never tried anything from so thought this was the
perfect time! I’ve only used the invisible oil primer and so far so good, it’s
lightweight and doesn’t make my hair greasy and apparently it’s meant to protect
against heat styling too so perfect for me!
You
will see a continuing theme here as all the rest of the products I went for are
from brands I have tried nothing or very little from. Next up is the Ole Henrickson Sheer Transformation Facial Crème to help fade skin discoloration and retexturise the skin, NUDE Skincare Rescue Oil to smooth skin and refine texture (can you tell I have
a thing for products that promise to do this?!) and Purity Made Simple 3 in 1 Cleanser which I thought would be nice to use in the morning
with my Foreo Luna.
I also
picked out a Nanshy Kabuki Brush because
I haven’t used one in years preferring my Real Techniques blush brush for
bronzing but I wanted to try the brand and the Elemis British Botanical Body Cream as I wanted a change from my
usual Soap and Glory or Nivea creams!
So
that was my build your own box! Lots of new products to try and I’m sure you
will see them pop up here or on my Instagram soon! It also came in a makeup bag
which I wasn’t expecting and I know that when I bought a one off box for my
aunt at Christmas you had to buy this separately if you wanted it (£4) so I’m
not entirely sure if this just comes the first time you sign up to the
subscription but I’m assuming so!
I went
with the 9 product subscription but they also offer a 3 product or 6 product
box. As
well as the subscription service you can buy a box at any time as a one off buy
though it’s slightly more expensive. To subscribe to the three product box its
£9 per month with free delivery or £16 one off plus £3.95 delivery. Six
products are £15 or £22 plus delivery and the nine product box (my personal
favourite) is £18 or £25 plus delivery. You can see why I went with the nine
product subscription though I will cancel it before next month or downgrade it
depending on what’s new in to pick from!
Have
you tried the Latest in Beauty subscription box?

I used it last night, so far so good! I'm the same, would hate not knowing what was coming! Xx
DeleteThis is such a fab box idea, so nice to be able to pick what you'd like to try, that way you know you will use everything in the box.

DeleteThat balancing mist sounds really nice, I'm not one for rose scents but it's good to hear it's not too strong. It's always nice to change up body creams every now and again haha!

Exactly! Xx
DeleteThose AHA pads are my FAVE. LOVE them so much.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to try them! Xx
DeleteThat's a really good box! I've tried that Jurlique mist before and I think it's just nice, I wouldn't splash out the $$ for the full sized because it's really just nice floral water. But it's a nice trial size. And I quite like the Purity Made Simple cleanser, it's my cleanser at the moment!
ReplyDeleteSamantha Series
Exactly what I was thinking! It's so dear so I'm glad I can try it properly! I've used the Purity cleanser a couple of times now and it's nice and gentle! Xx
DeleteNow this sounds like the subscription I need, I mean anything with Oskia in it, I'm sold haha! PS, I love the Photo :)

Isn't it! I used the mask last night and it's lovely! Xx
DeleteThe fact that you can pick your products is the only thing that tempts me to see if we can get a subscription here in Germany. All the other boxes... I think I would hate half of what I got and would be disappointed every day.
ReplyDeleteLinda, Libra, Loca: Beauty, Baby and Backpacking
Me too! I think they would come with lots of stuff I'd have no interest in! Xx
DeleteI'm seriously impressed with the size of the samples and the quality of the brands they have! I really need to try this :)
