Project Pan

I see a lot of pan posting challenges on Instagram and in general, even though its only makeup, its impressive to see someone finishing up or hitting pan on a piece of makeup. Now I regularly hit pan on powder and finish up bottles of foundation but I currently only have one pan showing on all of the eyeshadows I own which got me pulling a few of my favourite pieces of makeup out to see how close they were to being finished. So here is a selection of products I would love to either finish or hit pan on by the end of the year!

Makeup Geek eye shadow pans in Barcelona Beach and Mocha

If in doubt this combo is what I go for when I want a simple smoky matte eye! They have the biggest dips by far of any of the Makeup Geek shadows I own and my other shadows in palettes too! I want to see some actual pan though so I’m going to try and increase how much I use these because I have neglected them a little recently with the introduction of my Kat Von D Shade and Light palette and Lorac Pro Palette!

Anastasia Beverly Hills refill in Banana

I barely use my ABH contour kit but I reach for this or my Smashbox banana powder every morning and this one has slightly more use because its magnetic and comes with me if I’m staying away from home. I love this for setting my under eyes, it’s really brightening and smoothing and I can see a dip forming so I want to hit pan soon!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer in Dark Brown

Another product I use consistently that I feel I don’t see any difference in no matter how much I use it! This is great for mornings I’m in a rush and even though the pencil is not as waxy as some others I have, I still get good pigment from it and Dark Brown is a perfect match for my brows. It seems to be never ending though no matter how much I use it so I definitely want to finish it this year!

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillowtalk

This has become my absolute favourite lip product since I got it last year and I reach for it 9 times out of 10 when I’m doing my lips! It is the most perfect pink/mauve/nude shade and is my perfect my lips but better shade. You can see it’s had a good few sharpens too and I can only imagine there will be more to come! This will be repurchased as soon as I finish it!

Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Bitch Perfect

My favourite lipstick to wear with Pillowtalk lip cheat is not Pillowtalk lipstick (I do like it but it’s a little overhyped) but Bitch Perfect which coincidentally I do not like on its own. This is my most used lipstick in my collection at the moment and I know that even if I finish it this year I will be repurchasing straight away because the lip combo is perfect!

Charlotte Tilbury Bronze from the Instant Look in a Palette

I am not a fan of this palette in general – the eyeshadows don’t show up on me and I really have to dig around in the blushers to get pigment off them but I LOVE the bronze and glow. Now we all know I am a highlighter phobe so I will never hit pan on that (it’s beautiful though and I do use it very sparingly) but as you can see, bronze gets a lot of use from me and as the pan is not massive I can see myself hitting pan soon! When that time comes, I definitely think the Bronze and Glow palette will be worth the splurge!
